Inherited Family Trauma Training: Effective Resolutions in Individual Sessions

January 21-24
San Francisco

In this experiential, hands-on training, students will learn how to construct visceral, three-dimensional healing experiences that can help ease the effects of both inherited and early-life trauma. When we shift the inner images that keep us stuck in repetitive patterns, new sensations begin to ground in the body and new pathways expand in the brain—ultimately allowing us new, positive ways to experience life.

This training is recommended for both clinicians wanting to work with inherited family trauma and non-clinicians interested in diving deep into their own healing work.

In this training, students will learn how to:
-Construct visceral, three-dimensional resolutions in one-on-one sessions
-Use dialogue, imagery, ritual and healing sentences as tools for reconciliation
-Integrate the latest neuroscience tools and techniques that calm the brain’s trauma response and create new neural pathways and new ways of experiencing life
-Resource clients through body-awareness, body-sensation and breathing techniques
-Design individualized homework assignments that will anchor an intervention and aid in sustaining integration
-Restore the aliveness to a damaged, empty or strained relationship with the parents
-Help clients break long-standing patterns of illness, fear and unhappiness

“His unique approach has enhanced my own exponentially beyond any other method I previously employed. Mark’s uncanny ability to uncover the essential dynamics operating beneath physical complaints is nothing short of miraculous. His technique enables a radical shift in perspective for both patients as well as for practitioners.”
~Dr. Bruce Hoffman – Hoffman Centre for Integrative Medicine
“I was astounded at how complex, yet simple, solutions can be. I immediately integrated this approach into my work with clients and was delighted to find that some of my most challenging cases were able to experience positive change immediately. This model of therapy has provided me with valuable answers to some of the most complicated questions, both personally and professionally. I would highly recommend this training to anyone wishing to deepen their awareness of themselves or enhance their work with clients.”
~Gemma Stone, Registered Clinical Psychologist
“I would like to take the opportunity to tell you what an honor it is to work with you. I have studied with a lot of healing teachers and never encountered anyone who has had the clarity, sensitivity and depth of perception that you have. In my opinion you really “get it”!”
~Susan Wenzel, Brennan Graduate
