Break the Cycle of Inherited Trauma through Family Constellations with Mark Wolynn

Dec 14
University of Pittsburgh

Unexplained depression, anxiety, illness, financial challenges, unhappy relationships—the latest epigenetic research tells us that we can inherit the biological residue from traumatic events in our family history. In this workshop, Mark Wolynn, author of the award-winning It Didn’t Start With You (Penguin, 2017), will offer effective ways to break inherited patterns so we can live healthier, happier, more fulfilled lives.

  • Become a detective of your family history, uncovering the traumatic events that can affect health, success, vitality and relationships.
  • Interpret the clues in your words, feelings, symptoms and behaviors that link to unresolved traumas.
  • Use dialogue, imagery, ritual, healing sentences and other tools based in neuroscience designed to break the cycle.

CE: 6 hours (LSW/CLSW. LPC, LMFT, Psych)
